Goodbye Caleb!

Caleb, gone but not forgotten. My friend in Colorado let me know that she had to put her kitty cat to sleep the other week. Caleb lived a long life and in his latter years he ended up having a lot of problems. He's in a better place now.

Sk120509

I hadn't participated in Papercraft Plant's Sketch Saturday for a long time, so I decided to try it. The image is Elliot from Dandelion Designs. The sentiment is from Penny Back. This card turned out a little better than I expected. It looks like a present! Here's a picture of the sketch in case you want to play along.

Eek! A mouse...

I was so excited to pick up some new Dandelion Designs stamps at J's Knicknacks several weeks ago. My favorite this year was this cute little mouse sitting on an ornament. For this card I wanted to try this simple technique to try to make the card a little more interesting. I found this on Split Coast Stampers, here, it was called a spiral pop-up card.

Is it Christmas already?

Surf's Up!

I had to put something together quick to wrap a grab bag. My other half is an avid surfer and he was invited to a Christmas Party held by a group of regulars at Court's (Ala Moana Beach Park). These die hard surfers get up and get into the water before the sun comes up, surf for a few hours, and then go to work. Amazing!!!

This box measures 4 x 4 x 1 and fit a gift card and a bar of surfboard wax. To decorate the box, I used my Stampin' Up roller wheel. Surfer Ian was a perfect fit!

Happy Birthday Shaye!

I made this card for Shaye for her birthday. Her favorite color is blue and she loves to be shiny...I came across this pretty blue glitter paper in my stash, so I tried to incorporate it into Hello Kitty's clothing. I think she likes it : )

Happy Birthday Dawne!!!

I made this card for Dawne of Dawney's Delights. She LOVES cupcakes. : ) The image and sentiment is from Hero Arts. Tries to give the cupcake some shiny sprinkles with some stickles.

Thanks for stopping by!

Another fun day!

Thanks to Denise and Jamee for opening up their home for yet another fun filled day! It's always fun to get together with these talented ladies. They are all so inspiring.

Brenda of Sweet as a Gumdrop, graciously did a make and take with us. It was a recipe book.

Jenny of Jenny's Creations also did a fun make and take. Take a look at this pretty card.

I made these little snowflake packages with my Silhouette to give to everyone at the event.

Here's a picture of the generous RAKs that I received. Soo many. : )

Fun fun fun!

Thank you ladies!!!
